Weekly Weather Update for Bedford, TX 8/26/19

8/26/2019 (Permalink)

Second storm season is approaching!

Tropical Storm Dorian has been strengthening and is on track to become a tropical storm when it reaches the Windward Islands later tonight – and a hurricane watch has even been issued for a part of the islands. The future is uncertain, but it’s looking like it will be making its way through to Florida by the end of the week.

The good news is unless there’s a drastic change, it most likely won’t hit the state of Texas. But what about the future of weather here in the state? Luckily, it looks like today is the very last day for 100-degree weather (commence cheering). But we now have a chance of severe weather tonight, into Wednesday evening with the highest chance being 50% on Tuesday night. I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly not going to complain about the chance for some fall weather!
